I am a complete beginner. Are these classes for me?

Of course. You don’t need any previous knowledge of Spanish to learn online.

What do I need?

You need a computer or some other electronic device (tablet, smartphone) with broadband internet connection and a webcam  (the webcam is desirable, but not obligatory). You also need Skype, which is free to download. We could also use Google Hangouts or FaceTime if you prefer; it’s up to you!

How do I start?

Book your free trial lesson. During this 30-minute session, a qualified tutor will assess your level and needs .

How do I pay for the lessons?

We take secure payment through Paypal. I you don’t have a Paypal account, don’t worry!  You don’t need it. You can still use any credit or debit card.

What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule a lesson?

If you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson, you should inform the teacher at least 6 hours before the start of the lesson and you will not be charged for this class.

If you cancel or reschedule less than 6 hours before the start of the class, you will be charged for this lesson.

What happens if I am late for my lesson?

Your tutor will call you at the scheduled time. If, 15 minutes later, it is not possible to contact you, the class will be considered as cancelled without notice and you will be charged.

Can Spanish Tuition Services cancel a lesson?

We may have to cancel a lesson occassionally, for reasons beyond our control. Should this happen, this lesson will be rescheduled at no extra cost.

What happens if I experience technical problems during the lesson?

Don’t worry! If you experience technical problems, the lesson or lost time will be made up for at no extra cost.

Do the classes I have paid for expire?

Yes, but you have four months from purchase date to start your course. If you don’t start using your lessons within four months, they will not be valid and the money will not be refunded. Once you have started your package, it will only expire if you stop for three months or longer. In any case, you can request an extension of the expiry date of your package or a transfer of your remaining hours to another person.
